At my wedding, I will be seven months pregnant. It hasn’t been easy finding dresses that don’t look like frumpy messes or pajamas.Any other brides in this situation? And any ideas on where to look?
Aw, this is a question that is close to my heart since my sister was an adorable preggo bride. Of course, like her big sis, she had herself an offbeat wedding at a Forth of July BBQ, so she rocked an adorable little white dress and coverlet that she got off the rack!
So, I’ve put together this roundup of other pregnant bride fashions — some are available to purchase with a click, some are just for inspiration’s sake, and none of which shall make you look like a frumpy mess.
THIS ONE is my favorite. Vintage style like WHOA on this one. And, oh, I just want to take that fabric and make things out of it — maybe a baby blanket or a crib lining?
This one is my second favorite option for a pregnant bride. While it’s not billed as a maternity dress (or even a wedding dress for that matter) there’s PLENTY of room to grow and I like the black trim.
Here are similar but more frilly options that come in colors other than white. Note, these are billed as bridesmaid dresses. That’s kind of the key in searching for good maternity dresses — look for bridesmaid dresses and then order in white if you’re going that route.
Holy crap. I think this one is the most ornate maternity wedding gown I have featured here. Wowza.
I love the gorgeous sparkly band around this gown.
Okay, this one‘s the opposite of frumpy — swishy and swirly and girly! I love it.
Here’s a fabulous option for those that don’t want white, nor bright colors.
Okay wait, maybe THIS one is now my favorite. How great is this freaking dress!? And that pretty ribbon can be tied in a bow on the front or the back. I love options.
This one is amazing. Look like a fairy — a gorgeous pregnant fairy — on your wedding day.
Wow, look at the hem on this dress — I love it!
This one is sweet, has a vintage vibe and comes in so many color options I can’t even count them all.
This dress tells “frumpiness” to piss off. It’s so sleek and sexay.
With the gorgeous floral detailing on the one strap, NO ONE will mistake this heavenly gown for pajamas.

Found this option through Offbeat Mama’s Pinterest. The original link is now broken, but here’s the revamped blog post for this DIY maternity dress project that I think it would make a phenomenal wedding dress option.
This dress has structure and style and right now, it’s only $150! Wow.
Here’s a short maternity wedding dress with some awesome adjustable sleeves! Love that idea.
Cute sleeves, check. Dramatic sash detail, check. Eye-catching lace patern, check. This dress is killer.

Of course it’s not always A-line dresses that get the preggo love. How great is this curve hugging (celebrating!) dress?
Hope I’ve helped you some on your awesome maternity dress search. And if I’ve indeed helped you find your perfect dress, you can easily thank me by naming your child after me.

Hi, I’m glad you found my site. I’m Imogen and I decided to give a speech at my wedding. The lead up to it was nerve wracking as I had never really given a speech in public before, and my wedding was such a special event I didn't want to mess it up or make a fool of myself. But because my wedding was such a wonderful day for my and my now husband, I wanted to be able to thank everyone who had helped us in our lives, and even express my undying love for my new husband in a public way.
