Bride Wedding Speech – the stress free way

Hi, I’m Imogen and I want to thank you for visiting my bride wedding speech site – I’m really flattered you found me and I hope I can help you plan your big day. When I got married to my partner recently I can honestly say that it was the best day of my life.It had none of that wedding day stress I had heard no much about, and No – I didn’t turn into a ‘bridezilla’, not even a little bit. Personally I think one of the reasons I was so relaxed is because I had my speech all worked out and I knew it was a great one!

I didn’t have a clue where to start but the information I found showed me exactly how to do it the right way. Click Here Now If You’d Like To Know How I Wrote My Bride Wedding Speech In a Little Over 2 Hours

I am naturally quite a shy person and I will admit that one of the greatest fears of my life has always been having to speak in public but about 6 months before the big day I decided that I wanted to write a wedding speech. At first I  had no clue how to do it, but I did some research on the internet and found some very useful information which really helped to make my wedding day such a huge success.

At first I kept putting starting my bridal toast off because I was really scared and then my fiance just told me to get on with it and stop worrying about it – he has always been the more practical one of the two of us :) . So I sat down and read the information I’d downloaded from the internet and I just started to write my speech. I really wanted everyone to enjoy themselves and I wanted them to remember what I said, it was very important to me that I got it right.

It took me just over 2 hours to finish it plus a bit more time for some editing. I couldn’t believe it, I followed everything in the bride wedding speech guide and it was far easier to do than I could have ever dreamed. I was so relieved, it was one less thing to worry about. I had many compliments from my guests, my mom and dad couldn’t believe that I’d have the confidence to stand up in front of everyone and actually do it but I did. Even my bridesmaids where stunned that I had delivered such a great speech, just the right mix of laugh out loud funny, and touching.

Anyway, like I said, I didn’t have a clue where to start but the information I found showed me exactly how to do it the right way. Click Here Now If You’d Like To Know How I Wrote My Bride Wedding Speech In a Little Over 2 Hours

Lindsay & Val’s Vegas, splurge-city, foodie, Beatles and showtunes honeymoon – Latest news on bride wedding speech

Honeymoon in Vegas

Honeymooners: Lindsay and Val

Type: Domestic travel

Budget: Mid-range ($1000-$5000)

Where did you go: We went to Vegas the Monday after our wedding on Sunday. We wanted to do something fun, but still be relaxing. We threw around Disney and NYC, but knew we wouldn’t stop moving all week! Then we talked about doing another all-inclusive Mexico trip, but that’s just *too* much relaxing for my taste. So, we’d been to Vegas before, and it’s the perfect mix! You can relax all day and party all night!

View from our room at the Bellagio

The view from our room at the Bellagio.

What did you do: The biggest thing we did was see shows. We’re huge Broadway-musical-and-show people but for a little over a year hadn’t seen one because we sacrificed our show budget for the wedding.

Val and the Fab Four

Val and the Fab Four.

So we saw Phantom one night (with backstage tour), Cher another (completely last-minute purchase), and the best night was when we saw the Beatles Cirque du Soleil show “Love,” then ran and got our free drink in the Beatles lounge, and then ran two hotels over to the Bellagio and saw the late night show of Cirque du Soleil’s “O.” A great whirlwind of an evening out in Vegas!

Beatles slots

What would you have done differently? We went all-out for our honeymoon and spared no expense. But then we’re not fancy people. We ended up in a suite in the Bellagio which was cool! But so not us! We’re kids at heart and the snooty atmosphere and high-rollers everywhere were not our scene. I think we learned we should just stay where we’ll feel most at home and not try and go “all out.”

Bellagio Pools

What was the most meaningful moment? Our first night there we had dinner in the Bellagio at a Cantonese restaurant that looked out over the Bellagio fountains. It was quiet inside except every 30 minutes when the fountains would “perform.” One of the times the fountains started dancing to Elton John’s “Your Song” which was our first dance not two days before at the wedding. It was a terrific beginning to our honeymoon.

What’s your advice for other offbeat honeymooners? Make it your own! We got lots of odd looks and comments of “you’re going to Vegas?” I guess to some it might seem tacky. Or where you go to elope. But to us it was the perfect mix! And we were so happy we got to “catch up” in a sense on the fun we’d been missing.

My winning ticket (that I eventually lost) and cosmo first night in Vegas

The cards that you’re given at your wedding might have checks in them — take some of those and splurge on shopping, activities, shows, whatever YOU guys want — finally!

Marriage: Signs of Communication Breakdown – Latest news on bride wedding speech

Posted on : 26-01-2012 | By : Imogen | In : bride wedding speech news

Lack of communication in relationships seems to be a consistent cause of marital problems. But because a breakdown in communication does not usually happen overnight, there are usually signs of trouble for a while before a real split happens.

Here are some symptoms and suggested remedies to heal ailing communication between partners, from Kim Malchuk, motivational speaker, coach, and award-winning author (via Hitched). :

1: Short Fuse. This is a warning flag, especially if your spouse is generally easy-going. If he/she seems to be getting irritated quickly then something’s wrong. Try approaching your partner in a calm and caring manner (a bit of light humor might help if that’s your style) to help your spouse open up and tell you what’s on their mind.

2: Withdrawn and Distant. Career, financial pressures, family issues, health– there are a lot of things that cause us stress. It’s not unusual for people to pull back or get really quiet when they are stressed out. Let your partner know you are there for them and that you’d love to listen to whatever they have to say whenever they want to talk about it.” Again, use a soft and non-demanding tone will help create a comfortable space to start the conversation.

3: Guessing Game. If you sense that something is off kilter, don’t try to guess what it is; just come right out and ask our partner if something is bothering them. Better to get the info from the source rather than letting your imagination run wild. Checking in with your spouse shows that you are paying attention to them and to the overall harmony of the marriage.

4: Kids Rule. This one’s tough but it can be done! Designate a time or a place in your home where the topic of kids is taboo. This time or place should be reserved just for the two of you. A happy Mommy and Daddy with a healthy relationship will benefit everyone living under the roof.

Ctrl + S these binary-themed invitations – Latest news on bride wedding speech

Bvunny designed these binary-themed Save the Dates and RSVP cards for her wedding. She explained that the binary-code is filled with “<3,”"RSVP,” and “Save the Date.”

If YOU would love to steal this idea, Bvunny told me that she recommends this site as “the best binary translator out there for anyone wishing to translate stuff into that or hexadecimal or whatever code.”

She also notes that right after they sent these babies out they got a “Welcome” mat in binary for a wedding gift! I love everything about all of this.

Winter got you down? This week we’re bringing you some spring weddings for inspiration from March to May! And don’t miss the custom-made mossy branches. Total love for those.

Kathleen and Larry got married at Seattle’s Urban Light StudiosThey ♥ OBB; we ♥ them, an eclectic and chic venue with a speakeasy vibe. Kate from Kate McElwee Photography and Carna from Very Important Events shared the photos from the colorful and subtly bee-themed event from last April. Even the food matched the orange and green color scheme!

Note the sweet little bees on Larry’s vest!

Midnight Blossom made a sculpture out of branches and moss to decorate the ceremony space.

Mozart, Ravel, and Talking Heads were played during the ceremony and one of the readings was ‘Ode to the Bee’ by Pablo Neruda!

I love this back-lit shot. The wedding planning was done by Very Important Events.

Urban Light Studios definitely is eclectic, down to the stuffed lion.

For more details on this orange and green fantastic party, check out the TWO blog posts at Kate McElwee Photography!

They ♥ OBB; we ♥ themThis wedding features Offbeat Vendors! Check out their vendor listing to see how they cater to offbeat brides:
